Warrior Heart Wellbeing Services provides health education, which enhances wellbeing sovereignty, creativity and connection within valued relationships. How? By facilitating wellbeing resources which if practiced for as little as 15 minutes during the morning, may serve to enhance emotional and physical resilience, experienced throughout the day. The wellbeing resources taught include Mindfulness Meditation and Warrior Heart Holistic Emotional Affiliate Limbic Solutions (WH H.E.A.L.S.).
What is Warrior Heart HEALS? ®
WH HEALS is a combination of mindful individually-tailored, interest-based skills, derived from psychotherapy, the creative therapies, eastern somatic practices and mindfulness-based approaches to wellbeing. WH HEALS is also a nuanced, novel and non-denominational approach towards establishing a Mindfulness Meditation practice, via the practice of resonating, interest-based mindful WH HEALS resources; particularly helpful for people who, for their own good reasons, have found the establishment of a Mindfulness Meditation practice to be a little out of reach.

In the absence of a mindful WH HEALS practice or other forms of mindfulness, an adults day to day functioning often occurs in a Beta brain wave state (12-30 Hz), High Beta waves (15 - 30 Hz) are associated with high levels of cortisol and adrenaline; so in this state we're vulnerable to stress, anxiety and restlessness, as well as many adverse reactions in the body.
In addition mindful WH HEALS reduces depression and the diminishing effects of societal sanctioned "comforts", such as caffeine and alcohol, which tend to fall away as mindful WH HEALS foster the natural joy of present moment living. This cherished awareness is like intentionally tuning out white noise static, and tuning into a favoured radio station; the ensuing peace may often be experienced as breathful relief.
Also mindful WH HEALS are grounded in interest and choice. which is innately motivating. Once chosen mindful WH HEALS resources are learnt, practicing is often freely accessible; both logistically and financially. Engaging in mindful WH HEALS for as little as 15 minutes each morning, significantly nurtures self-awareness, presence and healthy conflict resolution within valued relationships.

Research confirms the strategies utilised within WH HEALS resources, provide a more resourced pathway from an agitated High Beta brain wave state (15 - 30 Hz) towards a deeper, more relaxed Alpha brain wave state (8-12 Hz) and accompanying parasympathetic, rest and digest relaxed way of being. So when a client practices their chosen WH HEALS resources, the ensuing Alpha brain waves and parasympathetic state, increases capacity to "dip a toe" into Mindfulness Meditation, for as little as 2 to 5 seconds, less or more.
In this way WH HEALS provides a more resourced paradigm towards establishing a Mindfulness Meditation practice. The smooth transition from a Beta brainwave state via WH HEALS, towards the establishment of a Mindfulness Meditation practice, opens another door from an Alpha brain wave state into a deeper Theta brain wave state (3-8 Hz).
Theta is a slower, deeper, more relaxed state then Alpha, and whilst present during sleep, it can also be accessed during meditation. Theta enables access to our innate emotional intelligence, inspiration and intuition; organically birthing transformative processes and creative inspiration; an incremental process enhancing our innate capacity to live a life much lived, along a path of heart.
